Our Story

My grandpa always told the story of how he went bankrupt farming. He prayed one night about fixing their financial burdens and the next day, he received the answer. He turned his hobbies of blacksmithing and welding into a career. I came along as an apprentice in the summer of 2004. I continued to watch and learn from my grandpa every summer and most monthly Saltfork Craftsman meetings, until he passed away in February 2010. I took over the best I knew how- I finished the few jobs left unfinished and got a few jobs of my own along the way. A few years later we lost a land dispute. Long story short, we tore everything down, and in 2013 I went to work for "the man" and worked at the same place until January of 2020. Now I have re-established a shop and have tools set up ready to go for any projects that come my way. We can build custom fence, gates, railings, and decor of all kinds. If you can dream it, I can build it.

I do everything by hand. All plasma cutting you see is drawn freehand and cut by hand. Cleaned up with a grinder and primed and painted. Every panel of fence is welded together in house and then welded to the posts in concrete.
